TO ALL THOSE INTERESTED IN WOOD-FIRING

We welcome wood-fire enthusiasts and also beginners, who are interested in the wood-firing process, to experience the fire and participate in the next or future Cone 10/12 firings of Tony's Anagama-Noborigama Wood-fire kiln near Cold Spring, NY

* Drop off pots in advance, or participate in part or all of the firing.

Clay: CONE 10 CLAY ONLY.

Fees: Sent to participants by request.

Supervision and guidance given at all times. Glazes: A wide range
of cone 10 Shino and liner glazes are strongly recommended and supplied.

Shift Schedules: Two or three people per 8 hr. shift, or part of a shift. New people are always partnered with those who are experienced. If you are not available for shifts your work can be fired for you at no extra charge.

* Details, firing fee forms, shift schedules, directions and recommended clay and glazes will be sent to all participants. If you have a question about appropriate sizes, please ask. The unloading is one or two weeks after the end of each firing (please check schedules).
